Following a headline by Kenya's leading daily newspaper that purported President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto had snubbed calls by Kenya Catholic Bishops for talks to end longstanding turmoil, the country has witnessed new twists.
From Deputy Presidents letter to the Bishops, a famous blogger Dennis Itumbi has thrown in his reaction to the discussion in a move seen to directly target a Catholic archbishop.
The former Statehouse Digital Strategist turned an enemy of the president has asked Archbishop Anthony Muheria to come clean on whether he received Ruto's letter welcoming their invites.
He says, "as a respected Church Leader, I have only one question for you, Did you receive a signed response from DP William Ruto to your request to spearhead reconciliation talks between the President and his Deputy?"
He asked the Nyeri Archbishop to "Refer to John 8:44, as you consider your reply."
DP Ruto has cried out accusations that he downplayed calls by the prelates in what is seen as a blame towards president Uhuru Kenyatta.
