
The news reaching our desk is that the Governor of Nairobi Johnson Sakaja is now determined to protect the city from noise pollution. He has revealed that he is engaging churches and Mosques to work out on the loud noise.
Sakaja is aan on a mission to ensure that Nairobi city achieves international standards that will enable it attract more investors in the country. He was keen to note that he involved the bar owners in negotiations but they were not attentive to their directives and they had no option but to crack down and declare them illegal.
Sakaja was keen to note that he is in dialogue with churches and Mosques where after sometime he will act according to the law. He has urged all denominations to adhere to the set guidelines or they will soon face closure.
