Sombre mood engulfed Chemuswa Village in Nandi County today as the late Faith Jelimo Karoney who was a student at Pemwai girls secondary school in Baringo county, was being laid to rest.
The deceased was a form two student. The reports said that the girl died after short illness.
Her death led to the students going strike blaming the school administration for their negligence.
The students said that her death would have been prevented if only Faith was attended to on time.
In attendance of her burial was the students from Pemwai girls, teachers and neighbours.
Netizens joined the family in mourning the death of their daughter.
