So, brothers, be fast and uphold the traditions that we taught you, whether via our words or via our letters.

Matthew 15:3

“And why do you disregard God's commandment for the sake of your tradition?” he replied.

Colossians 2:8

Make certain that no one takes you captive via philosophy and hollow deception, in accordance with human tradition, the world's elemental spirits, and not in accordance with

1 Corinthians 11:1-2

As I am of Christ, be imitators of me. Now I praise you because you remember me in all you do and uphold the traditions I taught you.

2 Timothy 4:2-4

Preach the gospel; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, admonish, and exhort with perfect patience and instruction. Because there will come a time when people will not tolerate good teaching and, instead, with itching ears, will gather teachers to fit their own passions, turning away from the truth and wandering off into myths.

1 Timothy 4:7

Have nothing to do with ridiculous, irreverent myths. Instead, prepare yourself for godliness.

Jeremiah 10:1-5

O house of Israel, pay attention to what the Lord says to you. “Learn not the ways of the nations, nor be alarmed by the signs of the skies because the nations are alarmed by them, for the customs of the peoples are vanity,” declares the Lord. A artisan cuts down a tree from the forest and uses an axe to work on it. They adorn it with silver and gold and secure it with hammer and nails to prevent it from moving. Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field; they are unable to communicate and must be carried since they are unable to walk. Don't be afraid of them; they can't do evil, and it's not in their nature to do good.”

2 Timothy 2:2

And what you've heard from me in front of many witnesses, entrust to trustworthy persons who will be able to teach others as well.

Deuteronomy 5:32-33

As a result, you must be careful to follow the Lord your God's commands. You are not permitted to turn to the right or left. You must walk in all the ways that the Lord your God has ordered you so that you may live and prosper in the land that you shall possess.
