Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has today been invited to a church service in Embakasi East by one his vibrant leaders Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino. Amid several requests by the clergymen of Kenya to politicians to stop politicking in church, a brace but humble pastor humbly requested Hon Babu Owino to desist from talking politics while on the church altar.
"We respect you so much our politicians and we are very humbled to have you here. This is a Christ fearing church and please ask you to not talk about politics while on the altar," the pastor said.
Several political leaders including Hon Raila Odinga, Sabina Chege and others attended the church service before proceeding to meet the citizens in various stoppages.
The political leaders present indeed followed the words the of the man of God and avoided talking about politics, but rather asked the church and it's leaders across the country to pray for Kenya as we head to the next year's general elections.
