Reports of the burial of the late Rev. Father Antony Karanja who died last week emerged online leading to a somber mood among Christians.
The late Rev. Antony was a senior priest at Christ the King Parish in Githurai, Nairobi. During his fellowship, he served to several parishes such as Makadara Parish, Muguga and Kereita parish.
He was a leader and a devoted man of God who committed his own life for the love of serving his people. He passed away on 01 October 20221 after ailing for some time.
His requiem mass was done at St. Cathedral church in Nairobi, he was laid to rest at Msongori clergy cemetery in the Nairobi archdiocese. His burial ceremony was lead by his Lordship Bishop David Kamau who is the administrator of the Nairobi archdiocese.
Kenyans and Christians at large joined in sending their condoling messages to the family and the entire Catholic Church for the loss of such a spiritual leader. May his soul shine on the way.
