It is his norm to go to different churches every Sunday and worship with people in different places of the country as he sells his presidential bid. From the video that was recorded, Ruto received a warm welcome from church leaders and members.
The church pastor gave a speech praising Ruto and his Bottom-up Economic Model. She declared that the church is behind him because his agenda is a reality and means well for the people.
She said, "Bottom-up is not a scam but a reality. I am not a politician. I am a pastor but I know Ruto's agenda is the real deal because he decided to come to such a small church despite there being many big churches. We are a church of Bottom-up."
She also told her congregation that they should understand their times and seasons and this is their moment of blessings.
Although she defended herself saying that she was not politicking, it was clear that she was campaigning for Ruto since she encouraged people to stand with him.
