Religious leaders from Kisumu County have today made a declaration Ahead of planned demos tomorrow. Speaking today at Kisumu, they condemned chaos that was witnessed on Monday. On Monday, 3 lives were reportedly lost due to demonstrations. Last week one university student was also shot dead by the police.
They have also called upon Raila Odinga to call off the protest and opt for an amicable way to solve his demands.
The leaders have urged Ruto to sit down with Odinga and come up with a better solution so that more lives are not lost during demos.

William Ruto's camp has however hinted that they are not ready to have any handshake meeting with the former Prime Minister.
Odinga on the other hand has rubbished claims that he is seeking a handshake with William Ruto.
