' Quite Funny ' See Cartoon Of President Ruto Pushing An Empty Wheelbarrow Eliciting Mixed Reactions

Media houses have been playing a very important role in the society. At all places of the world, much are the things which the media has achieved for the citizens. They not only bring news and update people on what is taken place around them and around the world, media pages and houses are also educative, entertainment centres and help spread religious content.

And in most places of the world, the media has enjoyed an independent freedom from the state. This means the media houses are free to air anything including content related to the government without any interference. It is this freedom that has seen many cartoonist in various newspapers houses come up with hilarious yet provocative drawings.

Take the case of a cartoon by standard digital for example. It features the president Ruto who is happily smiling and pushing a seemingly empty wheelbarrow. On the sides, there are cameras particularly of the Media people facing him and taking photos.

He then can be seen telling them that he is very busy delivering his promises to the Kenyans. This is a drawing which has elicited lots of mixed reactions. Some people have said the media is enjoying freedom while others say the cartoonist is attacking the president.

Others went ahead to interpret the drawing as the presidency who are delivering empty promises to Kenyans. See some reactions from the screenshots below.
