"Stop Using the Name of God to Hoodwink Kenyans" DP Ruto Told

Mutembei TV recorded a video during a church service that Nakuru County governor Lee Kinyanjui was one of the congregants. The church was identified to be CITAM Nakuru and Bishop David Oginde talked about how politicians fail to do the right thing when they attend church services.

Bishop Oginde said that going to church is the same as a sick person going to the hospital and he must follow every instruction given by the doctor. He revealed that some politicians go to church and start dictating what the men of God should do.

According to him, these politicians cause confusion in church because they behave like patients who go to the hospital and tell the doctor that they are not sick, that there are people in worse conditions out there who need more attention.

Later on Governor Lee was given a chance to speak and he also mentioned how much he was bothered by the fact that politicians are misusing churches and the name of God.

He said, "We have a problem in the church. This is a plea to our leaders that the term 'Bwana asifiwe' is not just an ordinary term. Some of us use it in political rallies to make sure people know we are Christians but after saying it we forget why we are there. Stop using the name of God to hoodwink Kenyans."

The Bishop and governor did not mention names but they were undoubtedly addressing DP William Ruto. Thi is because he is the most consistent politician in visiting different churches and never fails to say 'Bwana asifiwe' while there.

Also, the DP was heard last Sunday saying that he is the one who has influenced other politicians to start going to church. He requested church leaders not to chase them but pray for them to get saved and go to heaven.
