Churches in the five counties which were marked as one area of high Covid-19 infection were ordered to close down which meant that church services are to be attended through online platforms.
With the Easter period still on, several Kenyans are keeping close tabs on the services, but this time round from their homes living rooms.
The pastor who was leading the service was very furious towards the officers as he claimed that the law enforcers were desecrating the alter of God.
According to Kenyans.co.ke news podcast, one of the church member took a video of the incident and posted it which led to several Kenyans condemn the police officers actions as they had no right to infringe the church premises as they were not flouting the Covid-19 rules.
The church released a statement later on which read as: "We wish to let our online members know that our services have been interrupted by the law enforcers despite following the laid down regulations. We have escalated the same with the relevant forum. Let's continue to pray for our nation."
