It is now less than 3 months to the August 9 general election and political parties are in haste to consolidate their nominated aspirants through prayer meetings among other forums. Today, Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders held 3 parallel meetings in 3 counties.

The Deputy President William Samoei led the prayer meeting to Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders at Langas, Eldoret. His running mate Rigathi Gachagua and Moses Wetangula led another meeting in Kericho county while Musalia Mudavadi led another meeting in Kabarnet, Baringo County.
While the Deputy President William Samoei was addressing the congregants at PCEA Church in Langas, Kapseret constituency where the prayers was held, he recognised the area as "Jerusalem". He disclosed that just as biblical Jerusalem where jesus started his gospel ministry, the area is where his political journey started while he was studying in one of the schools.
