A lady identified as Lina Mwende was initially scheduled to travel in the now ill fated bus back to Naivasha where she worked,but luckyly Mwende said she changed her mind last minute and called her boss seeking to extend her stay in Kisii to mourn her father in law before travelling back
luckyly her boss granted her wish and that is how she did not board the bus which was later involved in a fatal accident where nine were killed after the bus they were travelling in collided head on with an oncoming lorry that was ferrying sand.
