Today morning the congregation at the Nanyuki P.C.E.A got a rare chance of hearing a wonderful word of God from His Right Honourable Raila Odinga. As 'Baba' took the microphone from the Bishop, he assured the believers that he is a full supporter of ''No politics in Church policy.''
"Bwana Yesu asifiwe, Bishop I'm so delighted to be here today. I can assure you that no poilitics here. We came here for spiritual nourishment".
Raila went ahead and read from the book of Psalms 133, "Behold, how good and pleasant is it when brothers dwell in unity. That's why I came up with the 'Azimio la Wakenya' a peaceful call for Unity of Kenyans. We should therefore as a people of come together especially when we are almost approaching an electioneering year."
The believes would be heard applausing throughout the sermon, as Raila true to his word didn't mix it with anything political. This comes a few weeks after the Anglican church banned politician from making political statements in church.
