Surprises in Kenya are becoming a common thing. Almost every new dawn, Kenyans wake up to surprising news especially when it comes to politicians and their dirty politics. Most of the moves have always been planned and done at night. All the things done in darkness have always been surprising Kenyans when they wake up to see them especially on the daily newspapers.
Just as customary, today again Kenyans woke up to a surprising news, only that this time, it was not about politics as mostly expected. It was about the resignation of Cardinal Njue that dominated the headlines on the Daily Nation newspaper.
According to Daily Nation, Cardinal Njue who is only 76 years old and served as Archbishop of Nairobi has finally decided to down his tools. They went on to confirm that the Archbishop's resignation was well accepted by the great Pope Francis.
That is not a good news though to many Catholics who liked and loved Cardinal Njue. They would have probably hoped that he continues leading them for a longer period of time.
