Hon. Peter Salasya, a recent addition to the National Assembly, narrowly escaped death during his first swimming experience. The Member of Parliament was likely getting his first swimming lesson, but things got out of hand when he couldn't float and began to drown.
He was yet saved and given the opportunity to return to the Lord's Way. After being saved, the church was seen praying for him.
The National Assembly member wrote on social media, "I was saved from the swimming pool when I was almost dead. Let the Lord be so called. If you don't know how to swim like I do, please don't even consider entering that thing. I will never go back to a swimming pool. Mumias East may be discussing a by-election today. I'll keep serving God since it's only because of His favor that I'm alive today."
