DP Ruto Makes A U Turn About Politics In Church

Deputy President William Ruto has finally changed his view about church in politics. Some few weeks ago, the Anglican Church Of Kenya issued a directive that they would not give politicians a chance to address the congregants.

This raised many questions on the role of church in politics. Among those people who supported the directive was Deputy President William Ruto. At that particular time, DP Ruto would attend church services and would even give out some donations in form of gifts and money.

Other churches such as the Methodist Church allowed the politicians to address the congregants. To then politicians were just similar to the worshippers and therefore there no need to discriminate.

On this matter, Deputy President William Ruto has change the tuned on his perspective and have asked clerics to reconsider their ban in places of worship, stating that they are Kenyans and have got freedom to sell out their manifestos and agenda anywhere.
