A section of Clergy members from Machakos county today visited and dedicated the new office of their area Mavoko member of parliament Patrick Makau at parliamentary buildings in Nairobi.
Legislator Patrick Makau, who is one of the seven commissioners of powerful parliamentary service commission assumed his office today by first making a dedication service presided by Machakos county clerics.
The dedication service was led by Athi River clergy Josphat Makau and other religious leaders from the Constituency. Former EALA legislator and son to Wiper party leader, Kennedy Kalonzo was also in attendance.
" It was a fulfilling moment of supplication to God. Led by Athi River deanery Rev Josphat Makau, former EALA MP Kennedy Kalonzo and the CWA national chairlady among many others, we officially prayed and dedicated the commissioner's office" posted Mavoko MP Patrick Makau on his official Facebook page.
The third term serving legislator promised to work with dedication and commitment in serving Kenyans in that prestigious office.
Other commissioners of parliamentary service commission includes; Nyali MP Mohammed Ali, Likoni MP Mishi Mboko, Nyandarua women representative Faith Gitau, Nyamira senator Okongo Omogeni, Laikipia senator Nderitu Muriithi and nominated senator Joyce Korir.
