The president William Samoei Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua attended a thanksgiving interdenominational church service in Embu county.The church event was held at University of Embu grounds.They were however warmly welcomed by several Embu county political leaders including governor Cecily Mbarire.Indeed it is an event that was attended by hundreds of people.Political leaders, religious leaders and journalists were among the attendants.Individuals have however shared varying opinions regarding president Ruto's visit to Embu county today.
However Embu county women representative Pamela Njoki Njeru was absent during that event.Njoki is currently outside the country. She however sent a message to wish Kenyans a happy interdenominational thanksgiving service.
