We need prophets in our lives to predict the future. There are good as well as " bad" prophets. But all in all they are part and parcel of our lives.
A prophet in Machakos County found himself in hot soup in the hands of angry street Hawkers. It is said that the prophet in question was predicting about the occurrence of an accident that was about to take place. They told the police that the said prophet had predicted about an accident again before that came to pass and with it two people were killed. When he went ahead to prophecy about a possibility of another accident the hawkers were Angered and took law in their own hands. They descended on him and started beating him before the police came to his rescue.
We all wish that instead of predicting Doom the prophets should at least be a source of hope in a country where people have lost jobs, lives to the Covid 19 pandemic and all that is needed right now is a hope for a better tomorrow.
