Meet The Lady Who Lit Up Uhuru And Ruto' s Day In National Prayer Day

Hellen Mtawali, a well celebrated music performer, composer and voice coach is being showered with praises after litting up the National Prayer Day held in Parliament grounds with popular gospel hymns.

The multi-talented star belted to Mercy Chinwo’s Excess Love and popular church hymns Cha kutumaini Sina and How Great Thou Art among others setting a spiritual. “If his excellency the President is joining me in doing this, why not you,” challenged Mtawali, driving all the attendees spiritually crazy.

Busia Senator Amos Wako also moved the guests with an emotional testimony on how he survived Covid-19 after he was admitted in hospital for three weeks.

“I had tried everything…even the popular dawa. I ignored the loss of appetite, attributing it to bad cooking. I even told my cook that his cooking standards had gone down,” Wako said, thanking his son who adviced him to seek medication where he was found to be Covid-19 positive.

What's your opinion about this prayer that was attended by Uhuru Kenyatta, the President and his Deputy, William Samoei Arap Ruto. Please leave a comment.
