A church is a holy place of worship where the Christian faithful gather to connect with their creator. However, nobody knew it could also be a source of danger that can claim human life.
It has happened in Nigeria as 31 people have died following a stampede in church. According to the https://www.thecitizen.co.tz/ ", At least 31 people were killed on Saturday when a stampede broke out in south Nigeria during a church charity event where food was being distributed, police said".

In giving an explanation, it is said that a charity food distribution for the hungry is what caused the stampede. This possibly implies that people may have started scrambling for food at the event.

How can such occurrences be prevented in the future? Do we really have to lose people like this?
