Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya with the highest population of people drawn from various parts of the country. It is one of the Economic serving as the government headquarters, industrial, residential and commercial centre. The county is currently led by Governor Johnson Sakaja.
Today, the governor said that he has declared war on noise pollution which has continued to cause distress to the people. Taking to his Twitter account, he said that they closed down notorious clubs playing loud music at night situated in residential areas. He added that they had spoke to them warning about the act.
He said, "even with the night clibs;we didn't start by shutting them down. We spoke to them over time. They agreed to comply but some ignored. Then we took action. We are asking churches and mosques to be considerate, and we will have a discussion with them. There will be order".
