Revelant Kathy Kiuna she is a flamboyant pastor in Nairobi whom many know her for her prosperity gospel which is aimed in urging christians to offer and tithe to the church. The sermons mostly touch wealth and poverty, encouraging members of her congregation to tithe more, because is the pathway to evading poverty.
One notable sermon, was through her twitter she posted some years ago, which stated," that tithers can never remain poor,"
The tweet caused Uproar reactions which left many wondering how the tithing principle had been misused by some preachers. This message was after a failed prophesy that the Rev. Kathy had promised his members each will drive a car by the end of 2017.
But that has not been the case here, taking to he facebook account, she has called upon his members to help raise funds for a baby Imani who is currently battling cancer.
With the help of the gospel singer Mercy Masks, they aim to raise atleast KSh. 2.6M which will help her complete her treatment in india. She further, reported that baby Imani was already in india undergoing treatment.
The fund raising was to take place through her instagram page. Such was a good gesture, and we applauds her too.
"I will be live at exactly 3 PM with Mercy Masika on Instagram as we raise funds for Baby Imani who is currently undergoing a cancer treatment in India. Join us!" she requested.
Let's hold hands and help the little girl both in prayers and little we can get. Accounts indicated on the poster above.
