Rachel Ruto is the wife of Deputy President William Samoei Ruto. Rachel has been in the forefront praying for this country as it prepares for the general elections that will be done on August 9 this year. His husband who is also the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. William Samoei Ruto will be contesting for the top seat to succeed his Boss President Uhuru Kenyatta. Ruto is expected to face a strong challenge from former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga who has huge support from President Uhuru and many other prominent politicians.
Rachel Ruto yesterday, hosted a joint prayer meeting attended by clergy and Mama Doing Good staff from all the 47 counties.
Later after the session, Rachel quoted on his Facebook Page a Bible verse from the Book of Psalms 116:2 which says that because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. She concluded by asking God to bless our beautiful nation.
