Nick Kiptoo Korir Salat has left Azimio and KANU for Kenya Kwanza in pursuit of greener pastures. He was given a 30-day suspension on Thursday after a fallout with the party's top banana, Gideon Moi.
"Leaders of the Church, there is something you have preached about... About the prodigal son who wandered around the world... Bishop, that prodigal son is me. President Ruto, you will lead the country for 10 years... I will walk with you every step of the way until you get the 10 years. I have seen the warm reception you got while in Nyanza... Why should I be left behind?"
The 53-year-old said this while in Bomet County. Musalia Mudavadi showered Salat with praises, encouraging him to stick to his new home.
"You are a good man and you have lost the last 15 years... I beseech you and I pray that this time you will stick with your brother William Ruto and Kenya shall be better."
