Baringo North sub county is mourning the demise of a young promising boy who didn't even manage to write his KCPE due to neck cancer. A disease which has claimed thousands of lives in country.
"Thank you all for the efforts you made trying to safe my life, and now that i am heading to a better place i am praying that God be with you," these were the last utterances of Zachariah Cherop who has been sick for almost two years.
Cherop succumbed to this cruel disease on Sunday the 25th of April 2021 and was buried on Wednesday the 28th of April at Kipkaren home in Bartabwa Baringo North.
Zipporah Tolgos who is his mother is now appealing to well wishers to aid in settling the funeral expenses amounting to ksh. 30,000 because they exhausted all their resources, including their only cow which was sold recently to meet hospital bills.
