Why You Should Stop Limiting God By The Way You Pray

BIBLE VERSE: Pharaoh called Moses and said, “You may go and worship the Lord; even your women and children may go with you. But your sheep, goats, and cattle must stay here.” No, we will take our animals with us; not one will be left behind. We must select the animals with which to worship the Lord our God.” (Exodus 10:24,26).

Testimonies just don't occur like that. There must be some spiritual orchestration that triggers it into existence. In the realm of the spirit, there is always a negotiation when it comes to how the issues of the life of a man are to be established. It was the negotiations of Satan that caused the afflictions of Job (Job 1:6-12).

These spiritual negotiations determine what happens to a man per time and when or how it happens. It is deliberate to be specific in asking God what you want rather than beating around the bush (Matthew 7:7 MSG). Many people lose out on their testimonies because they didn't know what they want.

Pharaoh understood this and wanted to release the Israelites with certain unfavorable conditions but Moses refused. These kinds of negotiations are responsible for the hap-hazard way of life of many. Allow him to finish school after all the troubles but he won't get a job, allow her to marry after years of delays but won't give birth. Allow him to get the money but sickness will finish everything. Allow him to labor in ministry then give him scandal. Such common scenarios are caused by the negotiations of the wicked.

But the scriptures show us that, it is very possible to go with all and not leave anything behind. Graduate, get a job, marry and give birth. Possible to grow in spirituality without scandal. Have money and enjoy quality health. Have all the blessings you want at every point of need without any restrictions.

Stop limiting God by the way you pray as Esau did with his birthright for a plate of porridge. Resist the temptation of praying to God for manageable blessings because it is shortchanging yourself. After years of waiting, God, please give me any man, man is the man. Give me any job, the job is a job. Today, we are not negotiating with any Pharaoh but we are going with all our testimonies in Jesus' mighty name.
