President of the republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta mourned the death of Mama Dorina, a retired teacher and cleric of Angelican church of Kenya as a successful teacher, avangelist and martriach who raised intelligent kenyans.
She was the mother to former speaker of the national assembly Kenneth Marende. She passed on while getting treatment at kisumu.
In his mourning with his friend Marende, the President said. "Mama Dorina was a very shinning star in her community. As a long-serving teacher and cleric, she raised a generation of highly successful Kenyans who continue to contribute to the growth of Kenya."
The President too recognized mama Dorina as a mother of faith and great influence whose success can be seen through her family and benefactors.
The President urged Kenneth Merende and the family at large to mourn their mother in peace and in a Godly way and may God provide comfort and peace in this difficult time.
