In a statement signed by The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops(KCCB) General Secretary, Very Rev. Fr Daniel Rono the churches will open with strict adherence to goverment to ministry of Health guidelines in reducing the spread of COVID-19.
"The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Nairobi wishes to inform all the Catholic Faithful in Kenya that in line with Government directive, our Churches will be open for Holy Mass this coming Sunday, 19/07/2020," said Fr Rono.
He however noted that inorder to cater for those Catholic Faithful who cannot physically be present at the Mass in compliance with the guidelines issued through the Interfaith Council, they will follow the Mass through KBC, Capuchin TV and TV 47, live from the Holy Family Minor Basilica, Nairobi, at 9.30a.m.

There will also be live streaming on Ukweli TV Kenya. The Holy Mass will be presided over by His Eminence John Cardinal Njue, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Nairobi.
