The 7 Last Words of Jesus on The Cross?

Jesus is the king of the world. He is God in human flesh and therefore, he redeemed us through His death on the cross.

Then what are the last words that Jesus said while he was still on the cross before his painful death?

1.Forgive one another.

(Luke 23:34) "Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots."

2.There is heaven for those who have trust and believe in Jesus.

(Luke 23:43) "Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

3.Take care of your parents and close relatives.

(John 19:26-27) "When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[a] here is your son,”  and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home."

4.Express your heart, needs and thoughts to God not to your fellow human beings.

(Matthew 27:46) "About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

5.Hunger for the word of God. Thirst for the living water which gives eternal life to whoever believes in God.

(John 19:28) "Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”

6.Don't or never give up. Strive to finish the journey.

(John 19:30) "When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit."

7.Your whole life you should place it in the hands of God.

(Luke 23:46) "Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”When he had said this, he breathed his last."

The death of Jesus on the cross proved to be a very painful suffering ever happened on the mortal flesh. He did so to redeem mankind from eternal condemnation. Therefore, for those who believe in Jesus Christ, one day he will come back to take us with him to the eternity which he promised his disciples.

The death of Jesus was not a punishment but was meant to bring redemption upon mankind. God bless you all. Please pray for each other until we enter the kingdom of God.
