Meaning Of PCEA And ACK

The first church in Kenya was built in Rabai over 100 years ago,1846 and from then many more churches have been built. The Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) is a Presbyterian denomination headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. In Kenya 10% of the population is Presbyterian. It was started by missionaries from Scotland. It has its headquarters in Nairobi South C area. Presbyterian theology typically emphasizes the sovereignty of God, the authority of the scriptures, and the necessity of grace through faith in Christ. Presbyterian church government was ensured in Scotland by the Acts of Union in the year 1707. The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) is a province of the Anglican Communion, and it is composed by 41 dioceses. Anglicans believe that there is one God who exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Furthermore, they believe that Jesus Christ is completely God and is also completely human.
