Because we came to this world naked, then the same we leave. Whatever happened in this world, all our money, jewels and real estates stays behind when we leave.The soul is eternal the body is just an envelope. Islam is a religion which is very close to nature. No artificiality in anything, the only decent thing to do is bathe the body and wrap it in clean white cloth. Then the body is carried in a plain coffin for the ritual in a nearest mosque. A quick burial is conducted, any process that may delay the body to decay is discouraged. In most cases the body should not be transported to the rural area if it's far, it should be buried in the near muslim cemetery. In that day the diseased family should not cook since they are very busy doing the burial preparation. Instead their neighbors should take care of that family.Later after the burial the deseased family is given time to mourn their loved ones.

This process help to minimize time wastage and also help to spare some money for the family.
