Today was an emotional day for the AIPCA church as they held a memorial service for Pastor Samuel Kimani alias Muthungu who died in a road accident last weekend on his way to Gatundu.
The memorial service was held at AIPCA Gatundu Church.
Many people mourned him as a selfless servant of God who always helped everyone in need.
The emotional photos of the memorial service were shared by his close friend Pastor and Radio presenter Ben Kiengei on his Facebook page.
"The race has been kept by Pastor Muthungu. We will meet on the beautiful shores. Rest in peace Rev" Pastor Ben Kiengei captioned the emotional photos.
Muthungu born in Gatundu was the Parish minister in Githurai Parish Thika Diocese till his death. He was the husband to gospel musician Mirriam wa Muthungu.
He is set to be burried on Monday 29th August 2022. The funeral service will take place at Gatundu stadium.
May he continue resting in peace and our sincere condolences to his family and friends as they go on with burial arrangements.
