Hello guys and welcome back again for another great Article. Today we will check at signs of the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Read Mark chapter 13. One sign will be that many dishonest people will come, all claiming to be Christ or his representative on earth (Mark 13:6,22). There must be something about being Christian that seems to bring out the worst in people, making so many want to be “false Christs and false prophets” or, in modern terms, televangelists.
At the same time there will be earthquakes and famines everywhere (Mark 13:8). Watch out for the sun and moon ceasing to shine and for the stars to fall from heaven, but ignore those scientists who say these things are impossible. In spite of total darkness Jesus will then be seen descending in clouds of glory, but as just one person in seven billion people alive today, don’t expect to be one of the lucky few who will see him descend like this.
