The Methodist Churches of Kenya under the leadership of the presiding bishop Dr Joseph Ntombura has finally unveiled the much awaited television station, which is expected to air it's contents in both Kiswahili and English. Through a circular that has been going round the Methodist Churches , applicants have been invited to submit their vacancy requests .
The Methodist Church of Kenya is one of the main stream Churches , whi toch traces it's origin from the famous missionary Wisely. Over 20 years ago , the church established it's first university Called Kenya Methodist university (KEMU) , which has it's branches both in Kenya and outside Kenya .
This comes at a time when the Methodist Church is under tough internal wrangles , similar to which gave birth to United Methodist Church as a splinter group . The presiding bishop has however remained mute on this whole issue, keeping his focus on the growth of the university and the new television station that is expected to be launched soon .
The vacant posts include ; Television production, New anchors and reporters, Continuity announcements , camera operators , studio operators , graphics creation, Broadcast maintenance and engineering and sales and marketing agents .
