Former Murang'a women representative and nominated member of Parliament hon Sabina Chege was quoted saying that the new administration is overdoing God and religion. She was referring to the prayer session during the inauguration ceremony of the 13th Parliament. The prayers took almost 20 minutes.
While responding to Chege's claims, former nominated senator Mwaura said that God cannot be overdone. He is alpha and Omega. The allegations that the current administration has been accused of overdoing religion.
Mwaura alleges that the previous regime to have overdone satan. This is the time for God to prevail and take charge.
The first lady her excellency Rachael Ruto promised to hold prayers at state house every month and will continue to host delegations of men and women of God without descrimination. She also assured Kenyans that doors to statehouse are open for everyone.
Kenyans are waiting to see if the opposition team will be able to see light at the end of the tunnel.
