Who was hell created for?

Hell is an afterlife location in religion and folklore where evil souls are subjected to punitive suffering, often torture, as eternal punishment after death. Religions with a linear divine history, such as Christianity and Islam, frequently depict hells as eternal destinations, whereas religions with reincarnation, such as the dharmic religions, usually depict hell as an intermediary period between incarnations. Hell is typically located in another dimension or beneath the Earth's surface, according to religion. Heaven, Paradise, Purgatory, Limbo, and the Underworld are some of the other afterlife destinations.

The Bible says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." Those who choose Christ, on the other hand, will “inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world,” according to Matthew 25:33-34.

The original intent of hell and its fire was to ultimately destroy Satan, sin, and his angels. Only after the fire has been extinguished can all the tears of the saved be wiped away.
