Video of a CBC learner doing his CRE CBC assignment that they were given yesterday on 15th September 2021, has surfaced online and it has excited Netizens online. In the assignment, they were asked to organize a crusade in their nearby market where they will preach and pray as they are recorded.
The assignment was to be done by the learner with the help of guardian or a parent. After organizing the crusade, the learner will be required to write a report of the event and present in front of the class.

The young boy didnot do his assignment in a market, but he did it inside their compound and it was amazing. They were listeners and they were happy for the boy as he preached. With the help of microphone, he was very audible. He is body language, his confidence and how he engaged with the audience, was so amazing.
He was preaching about the story of Jonah who refused to obey God's command and he ended up being swallowed by the whale but luckily he was spit by the whale after three days and had a chance to live again.
The moral lesson the boy gave from the story, was that God is forgiving, as much as he intended to destroy Nineveh, he forgave the nation. God will forgive someone despite of their bad action and even bless you.
If this is what CBC is going to do to our kids, then it's a good thing. The boy had the same voice has most of the pastors in Kenya have.
Here are some of the mixed reactions.
