It has been 3 days since the discussion about Worshipping Places and politics emerged. Today, the Catholic Church priests have aired out their opinion of wanting the "Uhuruto" mediation.

Speaking to the Citizen Television, they declared that the Independent Electoral Board Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati and other three old Commissioners should be replaced a for free and fair elections come 2022 August.

According to the Citizen Tv Anyolo, Kisumu Archbishop declared," now that IEBC is fully constituted, we urge the commission to move with speed and put in place in good time necessary systems and processes to ensure free and fair elections.

The priests also wanted a reunion of the President and his Deputy for tranquility and peace.

Anthony Muheria, Nyeri Archbishop said," It is an open and sad reality that the President and Deputy President are not reading from the same script. The public exchanges that are being witnessed are dangerous to the prevailing peace and tranquility and can't be taken lightly. There have already created anxiety that is potential to ignite political violence if not addressed with immediate effect."

In addition to that, Martin Kivuva, KCCB Chairman gave an opinion similar to the ACK Archbishop's. He said," Any politician who attends worship of mass should do so as any other worshipper. And no special consideration should be made for humor her to propagate his or her political agendas nor addresses the congregation in places of worship."
