A picture of a pregnant nun has gone viral and has caught the attention of Kenyans. According to my understanding, nuns are women who are dedicated to serving God and do not get married. They are usually ordained in the Catholic church.
Since I have never heard of any dominion that has nuns, I assume that only those who are fully aware of their calling are allowed to enter the religious life. I came across a picture of a pregnant nun on Facebook.
The photo has caused a lot of reactions. Some people think that the nun is suffering from an illness, while others believe that she is pregnant. According to Gladys Mwai, the nun is a woman and has served the church for many years. She said that serving her family is her calling.
Kihara also stated that she supports the idea of the nun becoming pregnant. However, she wonders what would make a woman become pregnant, considering that she has dedicated her life to serving God.
