Bishop Margaret Wanjiru “Exposes” What Raila Did at Her Church That He Allegedly Repeated on Sunday

Former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has joined a section of Tangatanga leaders to attack ODM leader Raila Odinga after his recent visit to the church.

Wanjiru criticized Raila just days after he attended a church service in Murang’a claiming he repeated what he did when he visited her Jesus is Alive Ministries (JIAM) church when they were allies.

Wanjiru claimed that Raila had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior when he attended a church service at JIAM and again he got saved this past Sunday at Bible Fellowship Church in Kigumo Constituency, Murang’a.

“I saw him going to church on Sunday. I saw the people who surrounded him and told him that he is now saved. May I remind you, he came to JIAM and got saved. So I don’t know if the first time it was not real and the second time he got saved is the real one,” said Bishop Wanjiru.

The former Prime Minister was criticized by a section of DP Ruto’s allies after he attended a church service following his attacks targeting Ruto for going to church to allegedly dish out money.

The Bishop speaking during a meeting at Ruto’s Karen residence said Raila should stop lying about his salvation.

Bishop Wanjiru said what matters is what is in the heart and not what someone keeps confessing every time they go to church.

“These people should stop all these lies. Salvation is about the heart and not the mouth. If you are saved, what is in your heart will agree with what is in the hearts of those who believe in God and they will know you are saved,” said Wanjiru.

The ODM leader following the Sunday service in Murang’a became the talk as he knelt to be prayed for by the Bishop of the church.

This comes as DP Ruto, a week earlier, also did the same thing when he also attended a church service in Kirinyaga County together with his Tangatanga brigade.
