Most individuals have turned away from Christianity, claiming that most pastors have turned religion into business. This argument comes when some pastors allocate special seats for prominent people and working-class individuals, ignoring the vulnerable in society.
Most churches give special treatment to individuals according to the amount of cash you offer as tithe. Pastor Tony Kiamah has condemned this act and urged believers to behave like one.
Kiama has condemned fellow pastors who have opted to conduct business in the form of spreading the gospel.
‘Shetani ameingia kwa church. Many pastors today have turned the Gospel of Jesus Christ into shillings and cents. The church no longer speaks the voice of truth. We have failed as a church,’ part of his post read.
He further stated that the church no longer speaks the truth as most pastors are greedy for wealth. He sympathizes with church elders’ kids who have abandoned the church because they find a better life outside the church.
