Opinion: 7 Things God Hate in Your Prayers

Why does the Bible include things that God despises while yet professing to be a loving God? True, the Bible lists the things God despises, but it also explains why we need to know these things for a variety of compassionate reasons. God despises the sin that separates us from Him, and it is for this reason that He sent His son, Jesus.

We are better able to love others as He loves when we look to His power to conquer sin.

Here are things God hates while we are praying and we should avoid them.

1. A Contented Expression "haughty eyes" is a phrase used to describe someone who has a primary sin.

The primary sin is arrogance (James 4:6). Satan's downfall was due to his pride. What a dangerous trait pride is! That is why the Witness Peter speaks of the values of quietness (1 Peter 3:4; 5:5). In Matthew 11:29-30, what did Jesus say?

2. A Lie-Speaking Tongue

Christians, on the other hand, are unquestionably truthful? Regrettably, they do so on occasion. Is it, however, unquestionably OK to tell "white lies"? Right? "A lying mouth" is something that God despises. However, isn't it true that it's tough to succeed in business these days without lying? God despises "a false tongue," as Paul put it in Ephesians 4:25. The petition of David in Song 120:2 must be supplicated.

3. Pitiless, cold-hearted hands that shed honest blood"

We usually think of Cain and Abel (Beginning 4:1-15). Cain, we learn in the New Confirmation, shed guiltless blood when he slaughtered Abel (1 John 3:11-12,15). Do you despise anyone? Then you are a murderer in God's eyes, and God despises murderers.

4. Terrifying Creating a heart that concocts nefarious plots"

Here, we are reminded of the source of fiendishness that begins within us. Look at what Jesus said (Matthew 15:18-19). What a contrast between Dorcas and Barnabas in Acts 9:36. (Acts 11:24).

5. Wicked Energy Feet that are rushing into evil

Here are feet on the verge of committing heinous acts! Since the "prowls around like a thundering lion," this is the Devil's work (1 Peter 5:8). This is something that God despises. What's the matter with your feet? Is it reasonable to assume they're the attractive feet described in Romans 10:15?

6. Defamation of a fictitious observer who spreads lies

According to an old author, "This is a dreadful situation! It usually operates without saying anything: it levels its damaged bolts with a look or a shrug of the shoulders; it has crushed many an upright heart and ruined many an ethical standing. It has spelled out many a good name and turned into reality a vast number of doubts that have gathered around and suffocated the most modest and temperate of our kind. It frequently operates in the shadows, mostly under the guise of honesty and love." In Ephesians 4:29 and 32, God expresses his disdain for criticism.

7. Difficulty Struggle "a man who sows division among brothers"

This is perhaps the most egregious of the seven sins. Another old author refers to the person who "creates the interruption of kinships and the separation of affiliation... " through "gossipy, deceptive stories, misleading comments, unsophisticated intimations..." This is something that God despises!

This is a terrifying subject, but it may be necessary, and we should ask, "How may we be released from the things that God despises and loaded up with the things that He cherishes?"

1. We must be honest with ourselves and with God; we must allow the searchlight of His Statement and the Essence of God to shine into our souls and reveal the things that disappoint Him. Then we should recognize our error, admit our sin, and reject what the Master bemoans (2 Corinthians 7:1).

2. We should seek out and obtain the cleansing of Christ's precious blood. Thank you, God, for making this available to both the holy and the criminal! 1 John 1:7; 1 John 1:8; 1 John 1:9; 1

3. In the book of the law, we must rely on God's Essence (2 Corinthians 3:17).
