Apostle John William Kimani is the spiritual leader of The Kingdom Seekers Fellowship. He is the founder of the church which has its headquarters in Nakuru town. The church is among the biggest churches in Nakuru town. 

Apostle William is also the founder and the director of The Mission to the Body of Christ International (MBCI) which includes MBCI TV and MBCI Radio. He is also the founding member of Heaven's Gate Prayer Mountain. This is an international prayer center which is located in Kariandusi, gilgil Sub-County along Nakuru - Nairobi highway.

Apostle John William Kimani was born in Central Kenya, Nyandarua County, Olkalou Sub-County, Rurii village. Apostle William is married to Rev. Naomi Kimani who is a very beautiful God fearing woman.

After completing his secondary school, apostle John William Kimani became a mason. He had had been introduced to the artisan course by one of his uncles. The young apostle embarked on the construction of houses until he was later recruited to join the prison department as a warder. John William Kimani quit his job as a jailer in 2002 to devote his life to preaching the gospel of the Lord.

After quitting his job as a prison warder and following his great call as a gospel minister, Apostle Kimani first joined Nema Ministries evangelical organization in Nairobi. There he grew spiritually to become a pastor and later on, he founded the Kingdom Seekers Fellowship in Nakuru. The church started in a small room in Nakuru town near the market.

Apostle John William Kimani conducted powerful lunch hour prayers that attracted many followers who flocked into his church. This led the apostle to think of a bigger church to accommodate the growing numbers.

He was one time all over media when he led his followers in prayers to resurrect two of his pastors. Pastor Francis Kamau and pastor Patrick Wanjohi had died just a few kilometers from Nakuru town when their car hit a police road block and rolled several times. Apostle had strong faith that prayers would bring back to life the pastors.
