Ngunjiri Wambugu Accuses Bishops of Using Derogatory Terms to Describe Azimio

Ngunjiri Wambugu, who used to be a member of parliament for Nyeri Town, has said that some religious leaders have called the leaders of the Azimio One Kenya Coalition bad names.

On his Facebook page, the Jubilee politician said that two bishops he didn't name had talked badly about the Azimo camp, which lost the presidential election on August 9.

Ngunjiri alleged that one of the bishops referred to the Azimio camp as "uchafu." According to him, the bishop had referred to Azimio using the words "wheelbarrow iliosha uchafu wote." The ex-lawmaker also said that Azimio was called "nyoka na mayai yake" by another bishop.

According to Ngunjiri, the attitudes expressed by the two unknown bishops are akin to hate speech, and the two ministers of God must be held accountable for their crimes. The former lawmaker stated that wrongdoing is unacceptable regardless of who commits it.
