Dr.Eng John Mosonik hosted Union of churches from 10 denominations from Abosi in Sotik Sub County where they agreed to work together to address the biting issues of acute water shortages,poor road network, agriculture and market for agricultural produce as well as improving the health facilities in their areas.
He said political leaders and governments should always work closely with religious leaders and faith-based communities to lead the society to whole rounded prosperity.He said they have power to raise awareness, influence attitudes,behaviors and practices. They also shape values in line with their teachings.
Eng Mosonik said they appreciate the church leaders unitybof purpose that is focused on solving the needs of their people in various sectors.He said they will continue working closely with these respected figures in there communities to shape attitudes, opinions and behaviors of our society to be ready to take part in their journey towards economic transformation.
