Sen Bonny Khalwale Circumcises Son Observing Luhya Traditions Leaving Netizens Speaking (Photo)

Kakamega Member of the Senate Hon Dr Bonny K, who is also famously known as The Bull Fighter from his love and passion of Bull Fighting competition is the region, has left Netizens speaking after he shared photos of his son who had already gone through the cut.

In many African communities, circumcision is a right of passage for the boys. The Kenyan Community where the Senator comes from (The Luhya), circumcision is just like a mandatory part of their life. Boys are transformed into men by undergoing through the knife and are later taught how to be men for the community.

Dr Bonny posted saying, "Ian Ipesa Khalwale gets circumcised joins mates in Irumbi seclusion camp in Malinya.He'll stay here for 50 days. Traditionally this rite of passage is observed in August of even years.It has been tweaked to the long school holidays since August holidays were too short."

"Does your tradition allow you to broadcast him online? Why should he be in seclusion then?" Someone asked.
