Two Enjoyable Sins Christian Can Commit

Believers like me and of course you, claim to live by the Book. We stand on the Word of God and defend it vigorously.

But we practice “acceptable sins!” Yet we find it easy to accept some practices the Bible clearly says are sin.

Here are Two Acceptable Sins any believer Can Commit:

1. Gluttony.

Gluttony is the great desire and focus on food more than God's presence in our lives. This means gluttony makes someone to take food as another god which is a sin according to the ten commandment.

The Bible on Gluttony:

Proverbs 23:2; “Put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony.”

I Corinthians 10:31; “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

2. Gossip.

Gossip is passing of reports about other people, involving details that are not confirmed as true. However, even if what we are talking about is true, tearing others down is still a gossip.

Bible verses states;

Proverbs 16:28; “A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.”

James 1:26; “If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.”

Ephesians 4:29 ; “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”

All the above are referred to as acceptable sins since we can do them without misusing them. This mean we can do, but in the right way as it is recommended by God.
