Enoch is one of exceptional character in the bible because he never tasted physical death. Even though (Hebrew 9:27) appoints that all men shall die with judgement to follow, it becomes questionable why Enoch didn't die like other people? Enoch was a descendant of Jared and he also had many descendants too. Genesis 5: 22-24, shows out how Enoch was taken by God. "Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years" (Gen 5:23). Just after it said, “Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him" (Gen 5:24) and so Enoch never tasted death. He did not die.
According to bible, Elijah found his protege in Elisha and informed him that he was going away. He said to Elisha, ‘Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you. And Elisha said, "please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me"(2 Kings 2:9) but Elijah said “You have asked a hard thing; yet, if you see me as I am being taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if you do not see me, it shall not be so" (2 Kings 2:10) but “as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it and he cried. Those are the only two men in bible who never tested physical death.
